Jenna Kim, ACSW

Replaying conversations, worrying you said the wrong thing, questioning whether you are asking for too much or not enough, and constantly wondering if other people are upset with you--does this sound familiar? As a therapist, I work with teens and adults navigating anxiety, overthinking, ADHD, anxious attachment, people-pleasing, perfectionism, low self-esteem, burnout, and relationship difficulties. I also enjoy working with first- and second-generation immigrants, undocumented immigrants, and LGBTQIA+ clients, navigating through unique identity, marital, peer, and family conflicts, cultural expectations, and deeply codependent or complex relationships. For many elder daughters and Asian and Hispanic individuals, values like self-sacrifice, putting family needs before your own, maintaining family harmony can make setting boundaries feel impossible to do.

My goal is to help you stop constantly questioning yourself and feel more confident in your choices, relationships, and life.

My approach is warm, empowering, yet practical and direct, drawing from CBT, DBT, attachment theory, motivational interviewing, and strength-based therapy to help you break the downward spiraling rumination, build confidence, and feel more secure in yourself, your relationships and your decisions.
